fascia replacement

Look way up and you will see a section of fascia missing. Another piece to the right was also missing but I replaced before taking picture. You can also see the rest/bracing, for the ladder
, on the lower edge of the porch roof.

I measured the section of fascia to replace at 11 feet. So to make it easier to install I ordered 2 pieces of 6 feet each. It is easier to handle 2 short pieces instead of 1 long piece.
The fascia pieces were delivered to the farm house being that the company was working on a job very near by.

After having installed the aluminum fascia, with galvanized roofing nails. I need to brush a small amount of paint on each galvanized nail head. Here I am climbing the 1st part.

I then needed to pull up the extension ladder onto the porch roofing to reach the peak of the fascia.

Notice how the foot of the ladder is against the rest/bracing. This way I can climb the 2nd section to reach the peak of the front of the house.

After the nail heads have been touched up with paint. Here is the final look. Just like new.
